Angelman Syndrome can be diagnosed through genetic testing of the unborn child or when he/she has reached 6 to 12 months. Treatments include therapy such as physical and behavioral. Common medication used is a sedative to cause calmness and anti- seizure medication. These treatments, especially medical therapy, are necessary in order to help people with Angelman Syndrome in fully developing.
